About
Trafalgar Gardens is a unique collection of three holiday cottages within a historic walled garden near the River Avon on the Wiltshire/New Forest border. The cottages sit within what was once part of Trafalgar Park, which was gifted to Lord Nelson after his naval victory. Today, it’s peaceful, and the private grounds are filled with flowers, ancient trees, woodland wildlife, and birdsong.
Sleeping 17 guests and welcoming two dogs per cottage, this characterful cluster includes Trafalgar Cottage (sleeps 8), The Potting Shed (sleeps 5), and The Orangery (sleeps 4). It’s the perfect choice of accommodation for families or friends wanting to holiday together with lots of space, while still having plenty of privacy.
Inside, all three cottages are light, crisp and modern in design, and thoughtfully curated with high-quality furnishings. The Potting Shed and The Orangery are single-storey and fully self-contained, while Trafalgar Cottage offers generous space over two floors.
Each property has its own private garden, with outdoor seating and room for the kids to let off steam while you unwind. And remember to take your swimsuits because there’s a little footpath down to a river for walks and a millpond if you fancy some wild swimming!
