Milestones Museum, Basingstoke
Under the welcome shelter of the Milestones Museum roof, the whole family can enjoy a fun and completely dry day out whatever the weather.
Hampshire’s museum of living history recreates life from the Victorian times through to the 1930s and 1940s complete with cobbled streets, immersive streets, shops, and vehicles. There’s also seasonal events throughout the year.
Milestones Museum is located at Basingstoke Leisure Park which has lots more attractions for all-weather fun including iFly Indoor Skydiving, Basingstoke Aquadrome, Planet Ice, and Hollywood Bowl.

Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium
Travel beyond the weather and out of this world with a visit to the Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium.
The interactive hands-on Science Centre has 100 hands-on science exhibits plus also the UK's largest stand-alone digital planetarium. A great place for kids to not only burn off energy, but to learn all about science in the process.
There are also lots of space-tacular events throughout the year including live science shows.

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard
There is much to explore indoors at the UK’s premier destination for naval history: visit the Henry VIII's flagship The Mary Rose and experience the immersive cinematic experience ‘Dive the Mary Rose 4D’, explore the indoor decks of the HMS Warrior and HMS Victory, burn off some energy with the Action Stations: Commando Experience and discover the depths of the Royal Navy Submarine Museum.

Beaulieu, New Forest
With over 280 vehicles in its world-famous collection, Beaulieu’s National Motor Museum tells the story of motoring in Britain from humble beginnings to the present day. There are huge displays to enjoy indoors including classic cars, legendary F1 cars, famous cars from movies, and the World of Top Gear.
Also indoors, Beaulieu’s magnificent Palace House – the Montagu family home since 1538 – takes you back in time giving an insight into the workings of a Victorian country house.
Calshot Activities Centre
Got some energy to burn but too wet to get outside? Take shelter in the giant hanger of Calshot Activities Centre where you can take on the tallest climbing wall in the South, shred down the dry slope on skies or snowboard, zip along the Aero Trek obstacle course, or go for a spin in the velodrome.
