One of southern England’s few remaining working potteries, Grayshott Pottery is a truly unique day to spend in the countryside where Hampshire borders Surrey, in the company of people for whom traditional craft remains a living passion.
Emporium: The extensive Emporium features Grayshott’s everyday tableware and their famous Dartington Pottery masterpieces, entwined with other quirky and designer brands. From statement jewellery and striking home décor to tasty treats, the Emporium is a tranquil escape to browse for that special touch for your home or a gift for him or her.
Tours: Grayshott Pottery offer free ‘Journey of the Clay’ tours from Monday to Friday. The fantastic 30-minute tour through the working pottery is an inspirational insight into where and how their creations come to life, as you follow a lump of clay as it turns into a masterpiece. To find out more and to book a tour, visit Grayshott Pottery's website.
Kiln Café: Enjoy brilliant breakfasts, light (and not so light!) lunches and terrific teas. The Kiln Café at Grayshott Pottery not only serves up a mouth-watering, locally sourced menu on their own ceramics, but, as it overlooks the artists' studio, you can also watch their craftsman at work while you enjoy a tasty treat
