Petersfield Museum is an Accredited Museum and independent registered charity, which currently does not receive regular funding from the government.
Petersfield Museum is now closed as building work on the redevelopment project continues. However, there are still many ways you can get involved. From volunteering to becoming a Friend of the Museum or giving a donation. You can always pop in to the Project Office on Dragon Street in Petersfield to purchase items from the shop, or check out the What's On page on the museum's website for full listings of events and exhibitions coming up this year.
Petersfield Museum preserves around 22,000 objects, photographs and documents and offers a wide-ranging programme of activities including temporary art and history exhibitions, workshops for schools, adult education talks, reminiscence sessions and family fun days.
* The archive is open by appointment Monday to Friday all year round.
