Chalk's Gallery Open Studio Event in Lymington

Chalk's Gallery in Lymington will be hosting a fantastic range of artist demonstrations as part of the Hampshire Open Studios week, where you can come and watch different artists create their work, live in the gallery. There will be a different resident artist in the gallery each day, setting up a temporary studio space in the shop window. The artists will be working away throughout the day and customers are welcome to watch them work, ask questions and purchase finished artworks.

Demonstrations will include printmaking with Jayne Soakell, quirky sculptural artworks with Gillian Connor and textile art with Sarah Maddison. A full list of the visiting artists demonstration itinerary will be available online. 

You will be able to look around the gallery's current exhibition 'Making Waves' which features a beautiful range of art and crafts made by local artists and designers. There will also be an opportunity to view the studio of our permanent resident artist Rosie Wesley and her bronze sculptures and silver and bronze jewellery inspired by the New Forest.

Open daily 10am to 5pm. Closed Sundays and Mondays
