Come and join the Fan Club as we share true stories from 800 years of Southampton's past of those who have been hung, drawn and slaughtered! Tales of evil, terror and neer-do-wells - crimes of which which the perpetrators were given the ultimate sentence.
This is an outdoor theatrical walk and will take place whatever the weather.
Don't miss your chance to hear tales from dodgy monks, royal courtiers, cruel thieves, scorned lovers and evil husbands; those who swung from the gallows and a couple that survived! They are stories of treason, despicable plots and cold-blooded murder … and all true accounts from over 800 years of Southampton's history.
The Sarah Siddons Fan Club, founded in 1988, have been using Street Theatre to promote the vast history of Southampton and have been producing a different Halloween production every year for almost 30 years – telling the darker history of the town.
Tickets for Sentenced to Death are £10 (£5 children) and available online or call 023 8086 2882. The theatrical walk starts from Holyrood Church on High Street and travels around the Southampton Old Town lasting around 90 minutes. Performances are happening on Saturday 31st October at 5pm & 7pm and Sunday 1st November at 6pm & 8pm
