Whether you're a Dancing on Ice champion, a total newbie or just about anything in between, you can be sure to find some festive euphoria on the surface of Southampton's real ice rink.
The rink is held within the Esplanade, next to the Medieval Walls and Westquay South, which has been magically brought to life for the Christmas season and the perfect place for Ice Skating in Southampton.
The rink is 900 sqm of real ice and this year SKATE Southamptin are very excited to announce the introduction of the brand-new SKATE path. Glide your way through a winter paradise of alpine fauna and festive lighting. This, combined with an upgraded ice resurfacing machine and the more comfortable skates means SKATE Southampton is going to be THE winter destination of choice.
Westquay offers extensive car parking, with over 4,000 spaces, split between the Multi-storey and the Podium. Both car parks are safe, secure and easily accessible for all shoppers with customer collection points conveniently located in the Podium car park. Park in confidence with the added reassurance of our Park Mark Award and then shop at your own pace. You can park all day at the Multi Storey for £5.
The rink will be open from the 9th November 2019 until the 5th January 2020.
Tickets: £11.50 adults, £9.50 child, £10.50 concession (student/OAP) and £38 family (2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children). Bookings can be made at the rink or online at the Ice SKATE Southampton website. Every ticket includes your skate hire and 1 hour on the ice.
Open: 11.45am - 9.30pm weekdays and 10.30am - 9.30pm Weekends 9th November until 13th December. 10.30am - 9.30pm Weekdays and weekends from the 16th December until 5th January.
If skating’s not your thing then head to Moguls Bar next to the rink, a lovely warm Alpine bar retreat serving mulled wine and steamy hot chocolates to your cosy armchair.
