Join us for an extended Halloween special show, shaking up our usual format. Instead of the typical opener and two middle acts, British comedian of the year Jeff Innocent will take the stage as part of the middle and headline. With support from the fantastically bonkers Joey Page!

He's winner of British Comedian of the Year, Best Live Club Comedian and the Comedian's Comedian. A comedian of legendary status, Jeff Innocent is now a social media sensation with his online videos amassing tens of millions of views. His second leg of his current tour "The Smart Casual" is selling out comedy clubs across the country.

His unique appeal lies in the contrast between his East End 'geezer' appearance and demeanor, and his educated, philosophical delivery and subject manner, inspiring the Guardian to describe him as a comedian with 'the body of a nightclub bouncer and the brains of a university boffin'.

Joey Page has spent the last few years bouncing around the comedy circuit supporting the likes of Josie Long, Rob Beckett and Noel Fielding, and appearing on shows such as BBC 3's Comedy marathon, Nevermind the Buzzcocks, and Noel Fielding's 'Luxury Comedy'. He did have a childhood dream to become a wrestler, dinosaur, or spaceman but luckily has settled on becoming a stand-up comedian. Joey boasts an extraordinary brand of highly original and surreally silly comedy. Joey always takes audiences on magical flight of fancy away from the humdrum of the everyday grind.

Our compere and your host for Stand in The Basement, Colin Owens, is an award-winning stand-up comedian, who has worked with Jimmy Carr, the teams behind The Inbetweeners and Mighty Boosh. Described as 'laconic and charming', Colin talks about his failings, inadequacies, mistakes and general stupidity, all tinged with an air of paranoia and insecurity, but delivered with supreme confidence and sexual edginess!

WHEN: Stand Up in the Basement is a once-a-month comedy night, always on the last Tuesday of the month.

TIMINGS: We aim to kick off the show at 8pm. There'll be an opening act, short break, two rising acts in the shorter middle section, another break, and we'll finish up with the headliner. The show typically finishes around 10.30pm. The bar downstairs will be open before and after the show, and the upstairs bar will be open during the intervals.
