Nick Page: Nick has just won 'The English Comedian of the Year' 2017. His debut Edinburgh Festival show had sell-out performances, critical acclaim and a host of 4 star reviews. He is in enormous demand in comedy clubs throughout the UK, as a headline act and MC, and has been for the last 12 years. With storytelling comics there's a moment where the audience asks themselves 'I wonder if that's true?'. With Nick there is more doubt, because the stories are so outlandish, and yet at the same time there's the sure knowledge that every story is true, and that his is a life lived laughing from disaster to disaster.
Tony Law: The cheerfully absurd humour that Law knocks around into a jazzy, freeform shape endears him to both live and TV audiences in the UK and abroad. He's a regular face at the UK's biggest comedy clubs, and a favourite at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He's won the acclaim of both the critics and his peers and as testament to this, Tony was honoured with the prestigious Comics' Choice "Piece-of-Wood" Award at the 2005 Melbourne Comedy Festival. A plethora of TV appearances, including Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For You, and Comedy Central's The Alternative Comedy Experience."
Colin Owens (Compere): Your compere for the evening, Colin has worked with Jimmy Carr and Russell Brand, as well as working with the team behind The Inbetweeners. 'A comedian who's star should shine brightly' (The Guardian). He's 'Impossible not to like' (Russell Brand) with 'Really good material' (Three weeks Edinburgh).
