Toast on the Coast Bread Workshops at The New Cottage Loaf Bakery

Nomadic microbakery The Bread Companion will be running seaside sourdough workshops 'Toast on the Coast,' in collaboration with Lee-on-Solent's sourdough bakery, The New Cottage Loaf. These workshops are perfect for beginners to breadmaking! Spend a Saturday afternoon hanging out with them and take a look at the inner workings of an artisan bakery.

In this afternoon session you will make your own bread loaves, dough for you to bake at home, pizza dough (which you will eat afterwards for lunch!), flavoured and enriched doughs and a brioche for your Sunday morning breakfast. You will also be taught how to make, look after and feed your own sourdough starter.

Materials, ingredients, recipes and lunch included, take home all you make in the session!

12 spaces available per class. £65 per class, from 2pm – 6pm at New Cottage Loaf Bakery, 94 High Street, Lee on Solent.
