Are you looking for ways to celebrate the Royal Wedding? HRH Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot on Saturday 19th May and to celebrate a number of events and activities are taking place across Hampshire. You’ll find themed afternoon teas and lunches plus a live stream of the Harry and Meghan’s wedding ceremony in the grand Winchester Cathedral.


A Royal Celebration at Winchester Cathedral

Everyone is welcome to join Winchester Cathedral on Saturday 19th May to watch the Royal Wedding ceremony in style on a big screen in the surrounds of the stunning Cathedral Nave. The screening will take place between 12 noon and 1pm. After the screening the celebrations will continue in the Cathedral’s Outer Close with family fun entertainment. Free tickets for the Royal Wedding screening are available from the Cathedral’s Box Office.

Royal High Tea at Emirates Spinnaker Tower

Celebrate the Royal Wedding 105 meters above the maritime city of Portsmouth at the Emirates Spinnaker Tower with a royal high tea. Served across the Royal Wedding weekend you will enjoy a selection of sweet and savoury bites accompanied by elegant Earl Grey Tea. The Royal High Tea experience will take place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th May and can be booked by contacting Emirates Spinnaker Tower.

Royal Wedding Lunch at Chewton Glen Hotel

Join Chewton Glen Hotel in their Lake Suite to celebrate the Royal Wedding. The hotel will be hosting a sparkling lunch with a traditional English Garden theme and will have live televised coverage of the event taking place in Windsor. Places must be booked by contacting the hotel.

I Do! at Willis Musuem and Sainsbury Gallery

To celebrate the Royal Wedding Willis Museum and Sainsbury Gallery in Basingstoke are putting on an exhibition of some of the most exquisite wedding dresses. From gown and veils to bonnets and shoes, wedding attire from the 1770s right through to 2018 will be on display.
