To celebrate the summer we ran our Summer Moments photography competition and asked you to share with us your summer photos of Hampshire. We have had an amazing response and after extensive judging we are pleased to annouced and share with you the winner of this year's summer competition and the runners up.

A night time to reflect this image was taken at 00.34 am after the summer heat the sky was perfectly clear and the temperature was still very warm the sky was showing a bright mars star with the Milky Way reflecting beautifully in the pond.

This year my parents moved down to Hayling Island and we’ve spent days on the beach, watching the water and playing with the dogs. Kite surfers are a regular feature of beach life and offer a great chance to take some really interesting action shots, so was pleased to snap this one in July.
