With over 10 years of pumpkin farming and their love of the winter squash and wanting to share their beautiful site, The Rogate Pumpkin Patch have grown a patch each Autumn, with all different colours and sizes – from munchkin to monster size. The Pumpkin Patch keeps spending time together outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and carving out traditions to repeat in the forefront of their event.
The Patch is grown in June, the pumpkins are snipped from their stalks in September. Once coloured up in the Autumn sun they are then ready for harvest in October. Building the event from scratch each year allows Rogate Pumpkin Patch to add new fresh ideas whilst keeping in mind their passion of the outdoors.
Rogate Pumpkin Patch site half way between Midhurst and Petersfield on the A272 offers a very rustic and beautiful experience during at Halloween.
There is lots of pumpkin fun with smash a pumpkin, pumpkin skittles, decorate a pumpkin, sling a pumpkin, corn blaster and spooky slime making.
