Eling Sailing Club invites you, your family and friends to try sailing for free as part of RYA Push the Boat Out 2017.
RYA Push the Boat Out (13-21 May 2017) is a nine day nationwide event that will see hundreds of sailing clubs and centres across the country opening their gates for local people to come and have a go at sailing.
Whether you're completely new to the sport, looking to get back on the water or sail regularly, Eling Sailing Club will be one of the many sailing clubs and centres across the country taking part in RYA Push the Boat Out. The event will see hundreds of people taking part in the sport at club open days and taster sessions.
Starting at 12 pm, on Saturday 13th May 2017 at Eling Sailing Club there will be a whole host of activities taking place including free dinghy sailing taster sessions, club open day, barbecue and the opportunity to look around some of our members' yachts. Sailing taster sessions will last approximately 45 minutes per session. It is recommended that you wear sensible footwear that you don't mind getting wet and bring a change of clothes sealed in a plastic bag just in case. The event is open for all ages.
We ask that if possible you book via completing the form on our website or calling the event organiser Pete on info@elingsc.org.uk so that we can have an idea of numbers.
There is parking up Eling Hill in the public car park on the right hand side, however remember that there is a toll to cross the bridge.
Apart from that just turn up and Eling Sailing Club will provide the boats, buoyancy aids and expertise to show you how much fun can be had out on the water.
