About
Exbury Gardens & Steam Railway are delighted to welcome The Reptile Academy to Exbury Gardens this summer, with a collection of weird and wonderful creatures for you to meet.
The 1-hour sessions will consist of a 15-minute talk, followed by 45 minutes of activity time. Activities will include (on-screen) microscopes and walking Salvador, the Argentinian Tegu, on a lead.
Exbury Gardens & Steam Railway will of course be building in a series of measures to make this fun family event safe and socially distanced at all times.
Location: Inside the courtyard outside the Five Arrows Gallery.
Timings: 10.30am, 12pm, 1.30pm, 3pm and 4.30pm. Each session lasts approximately 1 hour.
Tickets: £4 per person, plus gardens admission or Friends of Exbury membership. To book your places call 02380 891203.
Restrictions:
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- In the interests of hygeine and social distancing, this is an outdoor, standing event. However a limited number of seats will be available for those that need them.
- To maintain social distancing, visitors may be allocated a specific performance of an event, according to their gardens arrival time slot.
Reptile Academy safety measures:
- Social distanced queue markers and one-way system in operation.
- Smaller reptile team and fewer animals than usual, although larger animals with the WOW factor will be easily-visible.
- No hands-on interaction with the public and animals for now, unless government guidelines change further closer to the time.
- Exhibited animals may vary from event to event and each animal is not guaranteed. These decisions are made The Reptile Academy Team in the interest of animal welfare.
