Looking for great value family days out this summer? Some attractions across Hampshire are helping visitors make the most of the school holidays by passing on savings following the Government's temporary reduction in VAT on admissions to qualifying family attractions.

Whether you're planning a day out with the children, looking for ways to keep the family entertained over the summer break or simply hoping to make your budget stretch a little further, we've rounded up some Hampshire attractions offering special ticket prices, family deals and seasonal promotions this summer.

Looking for even more ways to make your budget go further this summer? Alongside these attraction offers, Hampshire County Council's Summer Savings highlights plenty of affordable family days out across the county.

Discover beautiful outdoor spaces such as Lepe Country Park, Queen Elizabeth Country Park, River Hamble Country Park and Royal Victoria Country Park, where you'll find scenic walking trails, adventure play areas, cycling routes and wildlife. If your family prefers something more action-packed, Calshot Activities Centre offers everything from climbing and skiing to watersports and adventure activities throughout the summer holidays. Together, these attractions provide plenty of affordable inspiration for making the most of the school holidays.

Hinton Ampner (National Trust)

Hinton Ampner (National Trust) is applying reductions to both admission prices and children’s meals. This means the admission price you pay at the till may be less than advertised.

Longdown Activity Farm

Longdown Activity Farm is delighted to be taking part in the Great British Summer Savings Scheme. Thanks to the VAT reduction, admission prices have been lowered. 

Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park

Paultons Park

Home to more than 70 rides and attractions, including the UK's only Peppa Pig World, Paultons Park is one of Hampshire's best-loved family attractions. The Vyne (National Trust)

The Vyne are temporarily reducing admission prices for the duration of the government scheme. Why not couple it with the free event ‘Summer of Play’ – six fun challenges for young adventurers?

The Vyne

The Vyne gardens

The Vyne is a warm, red-bricked Tudor mansion built in the 16th Century for Lord Sandys, Henry VIII's Lord Chamberlain. It later passed into the hands of the Chute family, who cared for the house and estate for over 300 years. The Vyne was remodelled to its present configuration in the mid-17th Century with the addition of a classical portico and summerhouse, firsts of their kind in England.
